ROVNER, Circuit Judge.

After pléading guilty to aggravated battery to a peace officer, Darnell Tolliver brought claims against the arresting officers for excessive force and conspiracy to conceal the use of excessive force, and a claim against the City of Chicago for indemnification of the officers. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants on the ground that Tolliver’s claims were barred by Heck v. Humphrey, 512 U.S. 477, 114 S.Ct. 2364, 129 L.Ed.2d 383 (1994).
