This suit is grounded upon the asserted rights of appellees with respect to their claim for compensation on account of legal services rendered by them in behalf of Luna Common School District No. 25 of Freestone County, Texas, hereafter referred to as the Luna District. A correct disposition of the appeal turns upon whether or not the asserted claim rests upon a valid and enforceable obligation of the Luna District and if so as to whether the Teague Independent School District of Freestone County, hereafter referred to as the Teague District, is legally liable to ap-pellees for…
