Attorney Tom Whiteside, appellant, sued his former law firm, Griffis & Griffis, P.C., its various successors, and individual shareholders (collectively “Griffis Firm” or “Firm”), 1 appellees, to recover payment of a “goodwill factor” following his departure from the Firm.
