Plaintiff brought two actions to foreclose liens to secure promissory notes, made in payment for water, given it by the defendant corporation, which will be hereafter referred to as the defendant, the other defendants being joined solely because of their interest in the land upon which plaintiff claims a lien. The defendant filed counterclaims for damages alleged to have been suffered because of the partial failure of a rice crop alleged to be due to the delay of the plaintiff in furnishing irrigating water.
