Associate Justice.—Appellants instituted suit against appellees, the Beliance Lumber Company and the Mona Mills Company, for the recovery of a part of the land granted in 1835 to Le-man D. Lessley, the grant being for one league and labor; and the appellee Holland was made a party, and judgment asked against him on Ms warranty, in case the plaintiff should fail to recover of the two defendant corporations. Others besides these two companies, and the appellee Holland, were made party defendants to the suit, some of whom disclaimed, and none of them are parties to this appeal. The…
