The defendant, Michelle Ellerbe, was convicted of operating a motor vehicle after suspension of her license, possession of a class B substance with intent to *770distribute, possession with intent to distribute drugs in a school zone, possession of a class A substance, and offering a gift to a police officer.1 She appealed and we transferred the case to this court on our own motion.
