The statute of limitations began to run on date of the adjudication and approval of the Bartolomé Baca grant, the contingency fixed by the parties if the Galisteo ranch was- “sold and conveyed” on condition. It is evident from an examination of the record that this case was ably contested by -the attorneys for both the plaintiffs and the defendants, and that every effort was used to secure and present to the Trial Court all of the evidence which minds trained in the subtlet}r of legal procedure by many years of active practice before the courts believed would be useful to the respective sides which they represented in the controversy now before us.
