The plaintiff has brought an action for alleged fraud and deception on the part of the defendant whereby the defendant induced the plaintiff to purchase from a film broker a film which had been previously stolen from the defendant. At the trial the plaintiff produced testimony which, if true, is sufficient to show that after certain films had been stolen from the defendant, the defendant employed the Pinkerton Detective Agency to trace the films.
