Plaintiff Rossi Peña-Crespo brought this action alleging employment discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e-2000e-17, against her employer, the Department of Family Affairs of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Plaintiff, who is originally from the Dominican Republic, alleged she was subjected to a hostile work environment on the basis of her national origin.
