Gilbert Thomas was charged in one indictment with making ter-roristic threats and burglary and, in a separate indictment, with theft by taking. The cases were tried together, and a jury found him guilty on all charges. On appeal, he claims that the evidence was insufficient to support the verdicts and that the trial court erred by denying his motion to sever the indictments, by prohibiting his counsel from using prior criminal convictions to impeach a witness and by admitting hearsay.
