Plaintiff-appellant, Leon A. Brown, appeals from a summary judgment entered in the United States District Court for the District of Vermont (Murtha, </.). The judgment was entered in favor of the defendants-appellees: the City of South Burlington, Vermont (the “City”), which had employed Brown as a firefighter; Charles Hafter, City Manager; and Michael O’Neil, City Fire Chief, designated in the caption as “Chief Engineer” (collectively, “Defendants”).
