During the afternoon of October 23,1933, plaintiff, Agnes Shumaker, while walking along an aisle in the public market owned and operated by defendant, Charada Investment Company, a corporation, slipped and fell, suffering injuries for which she seeks compensation in this action. Plaintiff contends that her accident was occasioned by the fact that the cement floor on which she was walking was wet; that this condition caused her to slip and fall; and that defendant was negligent in permitting the floor to become and remain wet and slippery, and consequently is liable to her for the injuries…
