Appellant Monroe McGhee appeals the judgment of the Mississippi County Circuit Court, Chickasawba District, convicting him of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) with intent to deliver, first-degree battery, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The trial court sentenced Appellant to a total of forty years’ imprisonment. In addition, the trial court revoked Appellant’s probation in a prior case and sentenced him to a concurrent term of ten years’ imprisonment. Our jurisdiction of this appeal is…
