The prisoner’s counsel challenged Blumenthal as a juror ; first, for principal cause, and secondly, for favor. The inquiries made of the juror tended *276to show that the challenge for principal cause was for the purpose of showing that he had formed or expressed an opinion as to the guilt or innocence of the prisoner, but the ground of it was not stated- by counsel.
