In 1934 defendant issued the $500 life insurance policy here involved to Lyle Isgrig, of Marshalltown, Iowa. Lena J. Isgrig, wife of Lyle, was named beneficiary. They were divorced in 1939. Their daughter, Beverly, who. was then four years old, has since lived with Lena.- In 1939, after the divorce, Lyle changed the beneficiary in the insurance policy to his brother, plaintiff-Lester W. Isgrig who agreed to hold the. proceeds of the policy in trust for Beverly. The policy was returned to Lena and was thereafter kept in her bank box.
