MEMORANDUM OPINION

CLARK, District Judge.

BACKGROUND

Allegations of forgery, adultery, and murder of the insured by his wife, underlie this interpleader action. It was filed by American Heritage Life Insurance Company (AHLIC) to determine the beneficiaries of four life insurance policies issued by AHLIC on the life of Jared Belser. The policies were issued as part of the employee benefits for which Jared’s wife, Shy Anne Belser, was able to apply through her employer. All four policies named Shy Anne as the primary beneficiary.

Jared died of a gunshot wound to the head, and Shy Anne was convicted…
