This is an appeal from, a judgment in trover for $2,411.82, recovered by the appellee, American Banking Company, against the appellant, General Motors Acceptance Corporation, in the circuit court of Adams county. Concerning the material facts involved in this controversy, the evidence shows that Frank W. Miller was engaged in the business of selling automobiles in' the city of Quincy; that in the month of November 1925, he gave C. E.
