FORECLOSURE PROCEEDINGS—FINAL JUDGMENT Section 12-301 of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article of the Maryland Code authorizes a party to appeal from a final judgment entered in a civil case by the circuit court. Under this statute, a party may appeal from an order ratifying a foreclosure sale, even if the order refers the matter to an auditor to state an account.
