This case concerns the correctness of tax assessments of property value. The appeal is taken from a judgment in four consolidated lawsuits in which Houston Lighting & Power Company complained that the assessed value of its property was excessive and sought relief against the Dickinson Independent School District, the Galveston County Appraisal District, and the Galveston County Appraisal Review Board.
