These related appeals from the juvenile court’s termination orders involve an extended family in which the biological grandmother, who is also the adoptive mother of D. J. T., was caring for D. J. T., M. M. R., and three other grandchildren when they were removed from her care by the Department of Family and Children Services (“the Department”). M. M. R.’s mother (“the mother,” who is neither the biological nor legal mother of the other four children and who is the grandmother’s biological daughter) was incarcerated at the time six-year-old M. M.
