Plaintiff Veeco Instruments, Inc. (“Veeco”), is the owner of the registered trademark “LAMBDA,” used in its business of designing, manufacturing, and selling electronic power supplies and power semiconductors. Other registered trademarks owned by Veeco, and used in the same business, include two logos, and the word Lambda juxtaposed with a logo.
