| ]This suit was brought in response to an executory proceeding in which Gail Marie Vance’s home was seized and sold by the sheriff. Subsequent to the sheriffs sale, Ms. Vance brought this suit against the former plaintiffs in the executory proceeding, as well as their attorneys, seeking to annul the sheriffs salé and recover damages for the wrongful foreclosure on her home.
