The Labor and Industrial Relations Commission awarded respondent Maudrie Reves workers’ compensation benefits for permanent total disability. Kindell’s Mercantile Co., Inc. and American States Insurance Company appeal.

*919The employee was injured on December 28,1985, when she fell while carrying a box of Christmas decorations down basement steps on the premises of her employer in Ironton, Missouri. The only issues before the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and here are the nature and extent of her disability resulting from that accident.
