Appeal from a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Board, filed July 6, 2015, which ruled, among other things, that certain payments made to claimant constituted wages under the Workers’ Compensation Law.
Claimant, who was a public assistance recipient, filed a claim for workers’ compensation benefits after he suffered an injury while assigned to work for Niagara County as part of a work experience program (see Social Services Law art 5).
