SOMERVILLE, Judge.
This is a divorce case wherein the crucial issue is whether jurisdiction was ever acquired by the trial court to enter a valid judgment in favor of plaintiff-respondent (hereinafter referred to as the husband) for divorce and custody of an adopted child.
On June 28, 1972, in the Circuit Court of Platte County, Missouri, the husband filed an action for divorce against defendant-appellant (hereinafter referred to as the wife). On the same date, the husband filed a motion captioned “Plaintiff’s Motion for Appointment of Guardian Ad Litem for Defendant.” Said motion alleged (1)…
