SPRECHER, Circuit Judge.
The issue in this appeal is whether the district court properly approved a settlement agreement terminating the Milwaukee public school desegregation class action *308after fifteen years of litigation. The intervening class members, the appellants here, contend that the district court failed to apply the correct standard in its evaluation of the settlement agreement. We conclude that the district court acted properly and affirm.
