This is an employee’s petition for specific compensation benefits for the “loss of use and function” of her left hand. A single commissioner found for the petitioner and, in addition to awarding miscellaneous benefits, directed weekly payments for a 25 per cent loss of use. Both parties appealed to the full commission. The principal reason of appeal relied upon by the petitioner was that the payment ordered by the single commissioner was insufficient in amount.
