HANSEN, Circuit Judge.

Ralph E. Dukes (Dukes) appeals the district court’s 1 judgment affirming the Commissioner of Social Security’s denial of his application for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. We affirm.

Dukes applied for SSI benefits on April 24, 2000. He alleged disability due to asthma, ulcers, depression, anxiety, and high blood pressure, all of which prevented him from engaging in the activities of daily living.
