Michael A. Chighisola appeals following his convictions of two counts of rape and one count of aggravated criminal sodomy, arguing a violation of his constitutional right to a speedy trial and various trial errors. For the reasons stated below, we affirm Chighisola's convictions.

FACTS

In early 2014, C.D. (Mother) and K.D. (Stepfather) started having difficulty with 13-year-old S.M.
