In this case we consider whether a trial court must entertain charge objections up to the time it charges the jury or whether it acts within its discretion in setting an earlier deadline. We also consider whether sufficient evidence supported the jury’s finding that an injured seaman was following a specific order and was therefore excepted from contributory negligence.
