—In a libel and slander action, plaintiff appeals, as limited by *908his brief, (1) from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated March 28, 1978, as granted that branch of defendants’ cross motion which.was to dismiss the first and second causes of action and (2) from so much of a further order of the same court, dated July 31, 1978, as, upon reargument, adhered to the original determination.
