VAN VALKENBURGH, Circuit Judge.
Appellant, a former Pullman porter, and a citizen and resident of the state of Missouri, brought, suit against ■ appellee, a citizen and resident of the state of Illinois, in the circuit court of the city of St. Louis, Mo., to recover damages for breach of contract in his alleged wrongful discharge from the service of appellee. At the conclusion of plaintiff’s ease, the court' upon motion "directed a verdict for defendant.
