The action was one for damages for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff, who was an employee of the defendant. The plaintiff recovered, and the defendant appeals.

The defendant maintains two freight houses in Kansas City, Mo., which extend north and south and are connected by a dock or platform. At the close of "business each day a doorman sees to it that all doors are closed and bolted. About six o’clock in the evening 'a watchman comes in and remains until six o’clock the next morning.
