CUDAHY, Circuit Judge.
Robert Steffens and Gerardo Garcia appeal from the district court’s order dismissing this suit pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(6). We affirm.

Like the district court, we accept as true those facts alleged in the complaint. In September 1981 a worker with more seniority displaced Steffens from a clerical position with the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company (the “Grand Trunk”); Steffens therefore sought to displace from another clerical position a worker with less seniority than himself.
