In an action, inter aha, to foreclose a mechanic’s lien, the defendant Astoria Pines Holding Co., LLC, appeals, as limited by its brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Taylor, J.), dated February 23, 2001, as denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against it.
*496Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law, with costs, the motion is granted, the complaint is dismissed insofar as asserted against the appellant, and the action against the remaining defendant is severed.
