This disciplinary matter is before the Court on the report and recommendation of the special master, Jonathan C. Peters, recommending that the Court accept the petition for voluntary discipline filed by David Edmund Ralston (State Bar No. 592850) and impose a Review Panel reprimand for Ralston’s provision of financial assistance to a couple who were his clients and the use of his trust account in providing that assistance, in violation of Rules 1.8 (e) and 1.15 (II) (b) of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct found in Bar Rule 4-102 (d).1 The maximum sanction for a violation of Rule 1.8…
