Plaintiff appeals as of right from an order granting summary disposition in favor of defendants on plaintiffs petition for custody of her biological grandchild, Brian Louis Bower, who was born on November 23, 1984. Brian was born out of wedlock to plaintiffs daughter, defendant Rosalie K. Bower, an adult. Two men identified as putative fathers of Brian disclaimed interest in custody of the minor child. Bower decided to relinquish Brian for adoption and made arrangements for open adoption with defendant Community Family and Children Services (cfcs) which placed the child with defendants…
