On the trial of this case, the same being an action upon promissory notes, the court “ directed a verdict for the plaintiff for principal, interest, and attorneys’ fees.” The plaintiff’s attorney then prepared, and the foreman of the jury signed, a verdict finding for the plaintiff stated amounts as principal and attorneys’ fees. There was, however, in this verdict, no finding as to interest.
