Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Herold, J.), rendered September 12, 1988, convicting him of burglary in the second degree, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contentions, a review of the record discloses that he was not deprived of the effective assistance of counsel. Defense counsel proceeded as effectively as possible in view of the overwhelming evidence of the defendant’s guilt. She made appropriate…
