DECISION

Plaintiff Rhode Island Department of Administration ("Department") appeals a decision of the Personnel Appeals Board ("PAB") that granted Defendant Joseph McGovern ("McGovern") reclassification and salary benefits pursuant to G.L. 1956 § 36-4-41 and Personnel Rule 4.031. The Department requests that this Court vacate the administrative decision as it pertains to McGovern's salary benefits on the grounds that the PAB exceeded its authority by making a salary determination in a reclassification case.
