Kevin Tremain Prince was convicted of malice murder and felony murder while in the commission of an aggravated assault in connection with the shooting death of Dewayne Allen Palmer; possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime; and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The murder convictions were merged for purposes of sentencing. Prince was sentenced to life imprisonment for malice murder and to consecutive terms of years for the firearms offenses.
