The defendant, Renidrick Vonhirshion, 56, was charged with one count of armed robbery in violation of La.R.S. 14:64 and one count of attempted first degree murder in violation of La.R.S. 14:27 and 14:30.
Pursuant to a defense motion, a sanity hearing was held on February 24, 1988, after which the defendant was found not capable to proceed and was committed to the Department of Health and Human Resources for treatment.
