I. INTRODUCTION
This appeal arises from twenty-eight separate complaints filed between 1998 and 2000 that were consolidated for pretrial purposes. A consortium of Florida farmers, plant nurseries, and corporations (“Growers”) appeals the denial of their motions to amend their complaints and the summary judgment entered against their claims of fraudulent settlement, spoliation, and racketeering.
