Appellant, an architect, sued appellee for a balance alleged to be due him on a written contract of employment, by which appellant agreed to prepare plans and specifications, working drawings, and details for and to superintend the construction of two certain buildings in Eastland, Tex., which appellee proposed to erect. One of the proposed buildings was a seven-story and basement hotel building; the other was a fireproof theater building.
