The writ of error in this case brings for review a judgment of conviction of murder in the first degree with the imposition of the death penalty.

The brief filed in behalf of Plaintiff in Error does not comply with Rule 20, but, because of the seriousness of the penalty imposed, we shall proceed to a determination of the questions apparently sought to be presented, the first- of which challenges the action of the court in overruling defendant’s objections to the testimony of a witness, Albion W.
