An application has been made to this Court, to sanction certain alterations proposed to be made in the charter, granted by an act of the general assembly, on the 13th day of September, in the year 1788, to the members of the religious society of Roman Catholics belonging to the congregation of St. Mary's Church, in the city of Philadelphia.
