This is an appeal from a judgment entered by the District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan after a five-day bench trial finding defendants Toko Kaiun Kaish (“Toko”) and Nicholson Terminal & Dock Company (“Nicholson”) jointly and severally liable for rust damage to a steel shipment from Korea, the damage accruing to plaintiff Acwoo International Steel Corporation’s (“Acwoo”) cargo.
