This litigation arises from the consolidated appeals concerning a default judgment granted in favor of the plaintiff, John Yani-ga, against Coleman American Moving Service, Inc. Plaintiff had filed suit seeking past due wages, and penalties and attorney fees available under R.S. 23:631 and 632. Purported service and citation were made on the defendant, Coleman American Moving Services, Inc., in accordance with C.C.P. articles 1261 and 1262.
