The question presented by the specification of error in appellant’s abstract is whether the trial court erred in denying plaintiff’s motion for a continuance. Appellees question appellant’s right to be heard.

From the abstract and counter-abstract, it appears trial of the action had been set for July 12, 1944, and shortly before that date plaintiff had filed a motion for a continuance.
