LEDERBERG, Justice.

This case came before the Supreme Court on the appeal of the defendant, Freeman K. King, from a judgment of conviction of three counts of assault with intent to murder and one count of possession- of cocaine. On appeal, the defendant has raised five issues: (1) the admission of certain evidence allegedly seized pursuant to a defective search warrant, (2) the refusal to sever the assault charges from the defendant’s drug charges, (3) the denial of his motions for judgment of acquittal on all counts, (4) the denial of his motion for a new trial, and (5) certain…
